Cash for steps: can money motivate a healthier lifestyle?
NCT ID NCT02945332
Summary
This was a small, early-stage study to see if paying people makes it easier for them to adopt healthy habits. Researchers worked with 8 adults from a low-income community who were at risk for obesity and diabetes. They tested if offering money for walking and to buy healthy food could help people lose weight and improve their health.
