New drug duo targets tough lung cancer mutation in major trial

Summary
This study tests whether a combination of two experimental drugs (IN10018 and D-1553) works better than standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy for people with a specific genetic mutation (KRAS G12C) in advanced non-small cell lung cancer. About 400 adults who have not had prior treatment for their advanced cancer will take part. The goal is to see if the new combination slows cancer growth and improves survival.
