First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether injecting a clot-dissolving drug directly into the brain's fluid spaces could reduce deaths in people with severe bleeding after a brain aneurysm rupture. Nineteen participants received the treatment, and researchers tracked how many were alive after 30 days. The goal was to see if this approach could improve survival and reduce long-term disability.
