First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a device that strengthens breathing muscles can improve lung function, exercise ability, and pain in adults with obesity and long-term low back pain. About 48 people will either do aerobic exercise plus the breathing trainer or just exercise alone for 6 weeks. Researchers will measure breathing tests, fitness levels, and pain scores to see if the breathing trainer adds extra benefit.
