First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether a hospital-wide quality improvement program can increase the use of blood clot prevention methods (like medication or compression devices) in at-risk patients. About 5,800 adults staying in the hospital for at least 3 days will take part across multiple hospitals in China. The goal is to see if the program leads to more patients receiving proper prevention and fewer developing blood clots within 90 days.
