First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a hospital-wide quality improvement program can increase the use of blood clot prevention methods (like blood thinners or compression devices) in hospitalized patients. About 5,800 patients across multiple hospitals in China will take part. The goal is to see if the program reduces the number of dangerous blood clots that form during or shortly after a hospital stay.
