First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how to best use a machine that helps people with neuromuscular disease cough and clear mucus from their lungs. Researchers will test different pressure settings to see which works best without causing side effects. About 30 adults with stable or slowly progressing neuromuscular disease will take part in two four-hour visits. The goal is to find safer, more effective ways to prevent lung infections and improve breathing.
