Can a simple writing task make PTSD therapy more effective?
NCT ID NCT06088303
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a brief writing exercise to standard PTSD therapies can improve communication between patients and therapists, leading to better outcomes. Researchers will enroll 54 adults with PTSD to compare standard therapy with therapy that includes the writing task. The goal is to see if this extra communication tool makes the proven therapies more effective and acceptable to patients.
