Summary
This study explored whether giving doctors more personal information about older Veterans with chronic pain leads to better care. Researchers talked with Veterans, their caregivers, and doctors to understand what personal details are helpful. They then created a computer tool to share this information during medical visits and tested if it improved how well patients followed their pain plan and their satisfaction with care.
