New program aims to protect pregnant people from dangerous blood pressure spikes

NCT ID NCT06002165

Summary

This study tests a training program called ACHIEVE that helps prenatal care clinics improve how they handle high blood pressure in pregnant and postpartum patients. The program provides coaching, simulations, and educational materials to clinic staff across 20 clinics in North Carolina. Researchers will track whether the training leads to better blood pressure measurement, patient education, and faster treatment of dangerous high blood pressure episodes.
