New computer tool aims to spot misdiagnosed diabetes

Summary
This study is testing a new computer tool designed to help general practice doctors more accurately identify the specific type of diabetes a patient has. The tool will scan patient records to find adults diagnosed with diabetes under age 50 who might have been given the wrong classification. Researchers will also interview doctors and patients to see if this tool is helpful and easy to use in everyday practice.
