Summary
This study looks at whether a program that combines in-person doctor-patient conversations with text message reminders can help people with type 2 diabetes take their medications as prescribed. The goal is to improve blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure control, and ultimately prevent heart disease. About 378 adults from community health centers in Michigan are taking part.
