Doctors get report cards on antibiotic use in urgent care

NCT ID NCT06144242

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether giving doctors feedback on how often they prescribe antibiotics for respiratory infections (like colds) can reduce unnecessary use. About 90 urgent care clinicians will be tracked to see if comparing their prescribing habits to peers leads to better choices. The goal is to cut down on antibiotics that don't work for viral infections.
