New scan cuts radiation risk for prostate cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07357259
Summary
This study is testing a modified imaging method for prostate cancer that could reduce radiation exposure. Researchers are comparing a standard two-scan approach against a new method that uses only one CT scan instead of two, while still capturing detailed images. The goal is to maintain diagnostic quality while making the procedure safer and more comfortable for patients with high-risk prostate cancer.
