First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 192 healthy adults who had dental implants placed within the past five years. Researchers measured the angle of the implant crown and checked for signs of gum disease around the implant. The goal was to see if a steeper crown angle is linked to worse gum health, helping dentists design better implants.
