New study aims to help kidney patients and families make better health decisions together

Summary
This study tests different ways to help people with advanced chronic kidney disease and their caregivers work together when making health decisions. About 128 patient-caregiver pairs will receive coaching sessions to improve communication and support skills. The goal is to find the best combination of training components to strengthen their partnership in decision-making.
