Summary

This study looked at how the pressure used to help patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) breathe affects the right side of the heart. Researchers measured lung and heart pressures in 50 adults and children to see if high pressure leads to heart failure. The goal was to better understand these risks and improve care.
