Ancient oat muffins put to the test for blood sugar control
NCT ID NCT07371598
First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at whether muffins made from a special type of oat (Royal Ancient Oats™) affect blood sugar differently than regular oat muffins or white flour muffins. About 38 healthy adults aged 35-65 with slightly high body weight will eat these muffins and have their blood sugar monitored for 24 hours. The goal is to learn more about how these oats impact digestion and hunger, not to treat any disease.
