First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking out the breathing tube in the recovery room instead of the operating room after robot-assisted surgery can free up the OR faster. About 218 adults having elective robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if this change saves time without raising risks or harming recovery quality.
