Radiation and dual immunotherapy: a new hope for tough colon cancers?

NCT ID NCT06603818

Summary

This study aimed to test a new combination treatment for advanced colon cancer that has spread and is resistant to standard immunotherapies. It planned to give patients two immunotherapy drugs (tiragolumab and atezolizumab) along with a short, targeted course of radiation. The goal was to see if this three-part approach could better control the cancer's growth in patients who have run out of other options.
