Immune cells in breast tumors may predict Long-Term survival
NCT ID NCT07545434
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at immune cells (called TILs and CD8+ T cells) in tumor samples from over 3,600 women with early-stage breast cancer who had chemotherapy after surgery. The goal was to see if these cells are linked to how long patients live without the cancer coming back. The findings could help doctors better understand which patients might have a better or worse outlook.
