First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at how immune cells change in adults with severe infection in the ICU. Researchers want to see if certain immune patterns are linked to survival, organ failure, or longer hospital stays. About 200 participants will provide blood samples and allow their medical records to be reviewed. The study does not change or add to their regular treatment.
