First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people with surgically treated leg or pelvis fractures can start walking right away instead of waiting 6-12 weeks. About 100 patients will be randomly assigned to immediate weightbearing or delayed weightbearing. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and practical for a larger future study.
