New study could make Post-Birth diabetes testing easier for new moms
NCT ID NCT04199676
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a glucose tolerance test given right after delivery is as accurate as the standard test given 6 weeks later for women who had gestational diabetes. Researchers hope that testing sooner will help more women complete the test and get the follow-up care they need. About 300 women who are pregnant or just gave birth will take part.
