New 3D-Printed crowns could speed up dental implants and improve smiles

NCT ID NCT07629752

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at placing a 3D-printed temporary crown on a dental implant immediately after surgery in the front upper teeth area. Researchers want to see if this approach saves time, helps gums heal better, and makes patients happier with their smile. About 30 adults with a failing front tooth will get the implant and crown, then be followed for one year to check bone health, crown survival, and satisfaction.
