New drug targets hepatitis b virus inside the liver

Summary

This study tests a drug called Imdusiran (AB-729) in 10 adults with chronic hepatitis B. Participants get 4 injections over 8 months and have two liver biopsies to measure how the drug works inside the liver and how it affects the virus. The goal is to understand the drug's action better, not to cure the disease.
