First seen Jun 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called IMC-002 (also known as IMM0306) in people with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a chronic autoimmune disease. The trial compares the drug against a placebo, both given alongside standard care, to see if it can reduce disease activity and improve symptoms. About 218 participants will receive either intravenous or subcutaneous injections of the drug or a placebo. The goal is to find a safer and more effective way to manage lupus.

What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial with a small number of participants, so the drug may not prove effective or could cause unexpected side effects.
