Wearable sensors predict stroke recovery in small study
NCT ID NCT05469438
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested a wearable sensor system that measures arm movement in people who recently had a stroke. 30 adults with arm weakness were asked to wear the sensors while doing simple tasks. The goal was to see if the sensor data could help predict how well their arm function would recover. The study did not provide any treatment, but aimed to improve how doctors measure and forecast recovery.
