First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at 300 people with Crohn's disease to see if detailed analysis of CT scans (called radiomics) could predict who would need surgery within a year of diagnosis. The goal was to create a tool that helps doctors decide on the best treatment early. The study did not test any new drug or treatment, but instead focused on improving prediction.
