Summary
This study tested whether a special navigation system can help surgeons remove kidney tumors more precisely during robot-assisted surgery. Twenty adults scheduled for partial kidney removal participated. The system uses electromagnetic tracking to guide the surgeon, aiming to remove only the planned amount of tissue and leave healthy kidney behind. The main goal was to see if the navigation helped achieve accurate removal.
