NCT ID NCT07460141

First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study is observing 42 adults admitted to the intensive care unit after surgery. Researchers want to see if levels of a protein called IL-6 and other inflammation scores can predict who is at higher risk of dying or having serious complications. The goal is to better understand how these markers relate to patient outcomes, not to test a new treatment.
