First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a protein called IL-33 in the blood is linked to lupus symptoms, especially kidney problems. Researchers will compare IL-33 levels in 150 adults: lupus patients with kidney disease, lupus patients without kidney disease, and healthy people. The goal is to see if IL-33 can be a useful marker for disease activity, but this study does not test any treatment.
