First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether breathing a special mix of low and high oxygen air (called IHHT) for 3 or 10 days can help control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes, including older adults. About 250 participants aged 50-74 will be randomly assigned to short or long treatment or a placebo group. The main goal is to see if this therapy lowers fasting glucose and HbA1c levels after 30 days.
