New AR game app aims to spark motivation in schizophrenia patients

Summary

This study tests a smartphone app called NST-SPARK that uses augmented reality games to help people with schizophrenia who struggle with low motivation, lack of pleasure, and social withdrawal. About 30 adults with these symptoms will use the app for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the app makes these symptoms better and is easy and acceptable to use.
