Summary
This study looks at how well the IGEL laryngeal mask works to help patients breathe during anesthesia if they have had radiation therapy to the neck. These patients are at higher risk for breathing problems, and the study aims to see if this device is a reliable rescue option. About 62 adults who need elective surgery and have had neck radiation will take part.
