Sarcoma study: does Anti-Nausea pill change chemo levels?
NCT ID NCT03514381
First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at how the anti-nausea drug aprepitant changes the amount of the chemotherapy drug ifosfamide in the blood of people with soft tissue sarcoma. 59 patients receiving standard chemotherapy (doxorubicin and ifosfamide) had their ifosfamide levels measured during their first treatment cycle without aprepitant, and again during the second cycle with aprepitant. The goal was to see if aprepitant affects ifosfamide levels and to track any side effects.
