Summary

This study looked at how receiving genetic risk information for Alzheimer's disease affects Latino adults aged 40-64 in northern Manhattan. Participants were randomly assigned to learn their risk based on family history alone or with an added genetic test (APOE). Researchers measured emotional impact, memory, and health behaviors over 15 months to understand the benefits and drawbacks of sharing this information.
