Researchers probe link between ICU memory loss and lasting trauma
NCT ID NCT07339891
Summary
This study aims to understand how a stay in an intensive care unit (ICU) affects a patient's mental health and overall quality of life after they go home. Researchers will survey 40 adult patients who spent more than two days in the ICU to measure their experience and check for signs of post-traumatic stress. The goal is to gather information that can help hospitals improve support for patients recovering from critical illness.
