Can light and timing heal ICU Patients' sleep?

Summary
This study is testing a bundle of non-drug treatments to help fix the sleep and internal body clock of patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). It will involve about 160 critically ill adults and combines bright daytime light, scheduled meals and activity, and overnight sleep promotion. The goal is to see if this approach improves sleep quality and the body's metabolism during a critical illness.
