New computer model aims to decode Life-Threatening shock in ICU

NCT ID NCT07256886

Summary

This study is testing a computer model designed to help doctors better understand and diagnose shock in critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It will look back at the medical records of about 1,150 adult patients to see if the model can accurately classify the type of shock and predict drops in blood pressure. The goal is to see if this tool could one day help medical teams make faster, more accurate decisions for very sick patients.
