Research aims to shorten painful bed rest after heart procedures

NCT ID NCT07469397

Summary

This study aims to understand what factors affect how long patients need to lie flat and have pressure applied after a tube used in heart procedures is removed from their leg artery. Researchers will observe 157 ICU patients to identify which patient characteristics or conditions predict a safe, shorter recovery time. The goal is to create a model to help medical teams personalize recovery, potentially reducing patient discomfort and bleeding risks.
