Summary
This study will track 1,000 adults admitted to intensive care units (ICUs) in Colombia's Orinoco region to understand why some patients die. Researchers will test how well a common tool called APACHE II predicts death in this specific population. The goal is to improve care and save lives by identifying key risk factors.
