Can a simple blood test predict survival after major surgery?
NCT ID NCT07460141
Summary
This study aims to see if certain markers of inflammation in the blood can help predict which patients are at higher risk of complications or death after major surgery. Researchers will observe 42 adults admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) after an operation, using only data from their normal hospital care. The goal is to gather knowledge that might help doctors identify at-risk patients earlier in the future.
