ICU study maps the hidden problem of high CO2
NCT ID NCT04304339
Summary
This study aimed to understand how common and serious high carbon dioxide levels are in patients admitted to intensive care units (ICUs). Researchers observed 862 adult ICU patients who had this breathing problem to learn what factors lead to it and how it affects patient recovery. The goal was to gather better information to help doctors care for future patients with similar conditions.
