Glowing dye could seal esophageal surgery leaks

Summary

This study tests a new surgical technique for people with esophageal cancer. The method uses a special dye to check blood flow and wraps the surgical connection with a piece of belly tissue to prevent leaks. About 73 adults will receive this procedure to see if it lowers the risk of complications after surgery.
