First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a new imaging device that uses a dye called indocyanine green (ICG) to help surgeons see how well bones are getting blood flow during surgery. The goal is to better predict healing and infection risk in patients with severe fractures or bone infections. About 10 adults will be enrolled, and researchers will track unplanned surgeries and infections afterward.
