Chill out: simple ice pack tested to ease recovery from heart procedures
NCT ID NCT07306728
Summary
This study is testing if applying an ice pack to the groin area can help patients feel better after a common heart procedure called PCI. Researchers want to see if the cold pack reduces pain and limits bruising where the catheter was inserted. They will enroll 60 adults who have had the procedure to compare outcomes.
