New depression pill icalcaprant enters Mid-Stage trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug, icalcaprant, for adults with major depressive disorder who are currently having a depressive episode. About 195 participants will take either the drug or a placebo daily for 6 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in depression symptoms and watch for side effects.
