Common pain pill vs simple exercises: which works better for wrist pain?
NCT ID NCT04328805
Summary
This study tested whether over-the-counter ibuprofen or specific nerve gliding exercises work better than no treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers compared pain levels and hand function in 123 people with confirmed carpal tunnel. Participants were randomly assigned to take ibuprofen, do the exercises, or receive no treatment to see which approach provided the most relief.
