Summary
This study aims to understand how social and economic factors affect medication use and quality of life for Hispanic and Black patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Researchers will survey 400 adults with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis to identify barriers to proper treatment. The goal is to find ways to improve health equity by addressing modifiable social factors that impact care.
